Services and Guest Expectations<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1311\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"1\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1311\"><p data-start=\"189\" data-end=\"474\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd is committed to delivering professional, enjoyable, and safe ghost hunting events. This clause sets out how we provide our services, the standards you can expect from us, and the responsibilities of guests in ensuring a fair and positive experience for all.<\/p><p data-start=\"33\" data-end=\"202\">1.1 <strong data-start=\"37\" data-end=\"62\">Provision of Services<\/strong> \u2013 Haunted Houses Events Ltd will make every <strong data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"128\">reasonable effort<\/strong> to deliver the scheduled services on the booked date <strong data-start=\"182\" data-end=\"199\">as advertised<\/strong>.<\/p><ul data-start=\"204\" data-end=\"544\"><li data-start=\"204\" data-end=\"445\">In the event of <strong data-start=\"222\" data-end=\"250\">unforeseen circumstances<\/strong> (such as venue restrictions, staff illness, or technical issues), Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"345\" data-end=\"397\">reserves the right to make necessary adjustments<\/strong> while maintaining the integrity of the event.<\/li><li data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"544\">Any significant changes to an event will be <strong data-start=\"492\" data-end=\"541\">communicated to customers as soon as possible<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"546\" data-end=\"756\">1.2 <strong data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"573\">Standard of Service<\/strong> \u2013 Haunted Houses Events Ltd is committed to providing all services with <strong data-start=\"646\" data-end=\"686\">due care, skill, and professionalism<\/strong>, ensuring a <strong data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"732\">safe and enjoyable experience<\/strong> for all participants.<\/p><ul data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"1076\"><li data-start=\"758\" data-end=\"916\">Events will be conducted <strong data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"821\">by trained and experienced staff<\/strong>, using <strong data-start=\"829\" data-end=\"869\">established investigation techniques<\/strong> and professional event management standards.<\/li><li data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"1076\">Guests are expected to <strong data-start=\"942\" data-end=\"969\">follow all instructions<\/strong> given by staff to maintain <strong data-start=\"997\" data-end=\"1073\">safety, respect for the venue, and the overall quality of the experience<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1121\">1.3 <strong data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1117\">Event Limitations &amp; Disclaimers<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1624\"><li data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1273\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"1151\" data-end=\"1171\">cannot guarantee<\/strong> specific paranormal outcomes, activity, or guest experiences, as these are unpredictable by nature.<\/li><li data-start=\"1274\" data-end=\"1412\">The company <strong data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1308\">does not control<\/strong> external factors such as <strong data-start=\"1334\" data-end=\"1409\">venue conditions, noise levels, or the presence of other groups on-site<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1624\">If a venue imposes <strong data-start=\"1434\" data-end=\"1468\">unexpected access restrictions<\/strong>, Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1528\">will make reasonable efforts<\/strong> to provide alternative arrangements but <strong data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1621\">is not liable for limitations beyond its control<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1669\">1.4 <strong data-start=\"1630\" data-end=\"1665\">Equipment &amp; Facilities Provided<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"2155\"><li data-start=\"1671\" data-end=\"1811\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd may provide <strong data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"1738\">ghost hunting equipment<\/strong> for use during investigations, but <strong data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1808\">availability may vary by event<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1812\" data-end=\"1959\">Equipment must be <strong data-start=\"1832\" data-end=\"1855\">handled responsibly<\/strong>, and any <strong data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"1956\">loss or damage caused by guest negligence may result in liability for replacement costs<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1960\" data-end=\"2155\">Venue facilities, including (but not limited to) toilets, heating, accessibility features, and power supply, remain the responsibility of the venue owner. Haunted Houses Events Ltd cannot guarantee their condition, nor can we be held liable for any changes to their availability or working order at short notice.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2157\" data-end=\"2206\">1.5 <strong data-start=\"2161\" data-end=\"2202\">Service Modifications &amp; Cancellations<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"2208\" data-end=\"2502\"><li data-start=\"2208\" data-end=\"2400\">If circumstances <strong data-start=\"2227\" data-end=\"2264\">require modifications to an event<\/strong>, Haunted Houses Events Ltd will ensure that <strong data-start=\"2309\" data-end=\"2397\">any adjustments are reasonable and in line with the originally advertised experience<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2502\">In cases where an event <strong data-start=\"2427\" data-end=\"2448\">must be cancelled<\/strong>, Clause 14 (Cancellations &amp; Postponements) applies.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"226\" data-end=\"281\"><strong data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"279\">1.6 Guest Feedback, Complaints &amp; Expectations<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"283\" data-end=\"529\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd prides itself on delivering safe, enjoyable, and professional experiences. While issues at our events are very rare, it is important that all guests understand how concerns should be raised and how feedback is handled.<\/p><p data-start=\"204\" data-end=\"241\"><strong data-start=\"204\" data-end=\"239\">1.6.1 Concerns During the Event<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"242\" data-end=\"1399\"><li data-start=\"242\" data-end=\"387\"><p data-start=\"244\" data-end=\"387\">Our team make every reasonable effort to check in with guests throughout the night to ensure everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"388\" data-end=\"621\"><p data-start=\"390\" data-end=\"621\">To help us support you properly, we kindly ask that any concerns are raised <strong data-start=\"466\" data-end=\"498\">immediately during the event<\/strong> with a Haunted Houses Events Ltd team member. This allows us to take reasonable steps to put things right straight away.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"786\"><p data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"786\">If a team member does not reach you directly during a check-in, guests are encouraged to approach any member of staff at any time if something isn\u2019t right so we can put it right for you.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"1010\"><p data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"1010\">If a guest confirms during the event that all is well, or does not raise any concerns before the event concludes, Haunted Houses Events Ltd will accept that the experience was satisfactory at the time.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1011\" data-end=\"1224\"><p data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1224\">Our ultimate aim is to deliver a great event and we want to help should it go wrong for you. Once an event has ended it may be too late for our team to provide support or remedy the situation. For this reason, <strong data-start=\"1126\" data-end=\"1221\">refunds or compensation cannot be considered for issues that were not declared on the night<\/strong>.<\/p><ul><li>Where an issue was raised during the event but was not rectified to a satisfactory level, Haunted Houses Events Ltd will review the matter fairly on a case-by-case basis.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"119\" data-end=\"150\"><strong data-start=\"119\" data-end=\"148\">1.6.2 Post-Event Feedback<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"151\" data-end=\"702\"><li data-start=\"151\" data-end=\"276\"><p data-start=\"153\" data-end=\"276\">We always welcome post-event comments as <strong data-start=\"194\" data-end=\"219\">constructive feedback<\/strong>, which helps us review and improve future experiences. However, feedback submitted only after an event cannot give our team the chance to put things right for you.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"554\"><p data-start=\"396\" data-end=\"554\">For this reason, while feedback is valued, it will not normally be grounds for a refund or compensation if the issue was not raised during the event itself.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"702\"><p data-start=\"557\" data-end=\"702\">Requests for refunds or compensation will only be considered where a concern was raised on the night but not rectified to a satisfactory level.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"351\" data-end=\"410\"><strong data-start=\"351\" data-end=\"408\">1.6.3 Expectation Management &amp; Comparisons with Other Providers<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"599\">We are extremely proud of the excellent reputation reflected in our guest reviews and we make every effort to accurately describe the content and structure of our ghost hunts. However, some guests may still attend with pre-conceived ideas of how a ghost hunt should run, often shaped by television shows, personal preferences or styles, or previous experiences with other companies.<\/p><ul data-start=\"411\" data-end=\"1914\"><li data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"777\"><p data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"777\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd is a <strong data-start=\"633\" data-end=\"666\">customer-centric organisation<\/strong>. We design and deliver our events with <strong data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"766\">fun, entertainment, freedom of expression, and discovery<\/strong> in mind.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"974\"><p data-start=\"780\" data-end=\"974\">Our approach reflects our own ethos and format, and doing things differently from another provider, or not matching an individual\u2019s personal tastes, does <strong data-start=\"934\" data-end=\"941\">not<\/strong> mean doing things incorrectly. Refunds or compensation cannot be claimed on the basis that our events are delivered differently to another company\u2019s, or that they did not meet a personal style preference.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1153\" data-end=\"1355\"><p data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1355\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd is <strong data-start=\"1184\" data-end=\"1270\">not liable for issues arising from the conduct, style, or approach of other guests<\/strong>, provided that behaviour remains within our published ethics and behaviour policy. <strong>see Clause 9. Behaviour:<\/strong> for details on our behaviour policy.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1356\" data-end=\"1608\"><p data-start=\"1358\" data-end=\"1608\">Our team manage guest conduct in line with our high standards, which prioritise respect, inclusion, and investigative freedom. Behaviour will only be restricted where it is genuinely disruptive, inconsiderate, or harmful to the balance of the event. Please talk to us if you encounter an issue that we may have missed. \u00a0<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1750\"><p data-start=\"1611\" data-end=\"1750\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd aims to create a <strong data-start=\"1654\" data-end=\"1692\">balanced and inclusive environment<\/strong> where all participants can enjoy the experience fairly.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"1914\"><p data-start=\"1753\" data-end=\"1914\">Any feedback regarding <strong data-start=\"1757\" data-end=\"1878\">genuine failures where Haunted Houses Events Ltd has not met its own advertised schedules, services, or structure<\/strong> will always be considered fairly.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2304\" data-end=\"2400\"><strong data-start=\"2304\" data-end=\"2336\">1.6.4 Fairness to All Guests<\/strong><br data-start=\"2336\" data-end=\"2339\" \/>By booking with Haunted Houses Events Ltd, you accept that:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2893\"><li data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2469\"><p data-start=\"2403\" data-end=\"2469\">Issues must be raised during the event so they can be addressed.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2470\" data-end=\"2603\"><p data-start=\"2472\" data-end=\"2603\">Refunds or compensation will not be considered for issues raised only after the event if no concerns were expressed on the night.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2604\" data-end=\"2741\"><p data-start=\"2606\" data-end=\"2741\">Refunds or compensation may be considered only where a concern was raised during the event and not rectified to a satisfactory level.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2742\" data-end=\"2893\"><p data-start=\"2744\" data-end=\"2893\">Differences in approach between event providers, or mismatches with individual personal preferences, do not constitute valid grounds for complaint.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2895\" data-end=\"3328\"><strong data-start=\"2895\" data-end=\"2931\">1.6.5 Industry Standard Practice<\/strong><br data-start=\"2931\" data-end=\"2934\" \/>This policy is consistent with common practice across the <strong data-start=\"2992\" data-end=\"3034\">live events and entertainment industry<\/strong>, where guests are expected to raise concerns during the experience so organisers have the opportunity to address them. Once an event has concluded, staff no longer have the opportunity to resolve matters in real time. This approach is widely recognised as fair to both guests and organisers.<\/p><p data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"455\"><strong data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"453\">1.7 Value for Money<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"1229\"><li data-start=\"457\" data-end=\"602\"><p data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"602\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd always strives to provide <strong data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"540\">excellent value for money<\/strong> and we believe we achieve this with every event we deliver.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"603\" data-end=\"849\"><p data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"849\">Ticket prices are set fairly and competitively, and include venue hire, staffing, insurance, equipment, administration, and applicable taxes. These costs ensure that each event is run safely, professionally, and to the standards we advertise.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"1028\"><p data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"1028\">The ticket price covers entry to the venue for the advertised duration, guided access to investigations, use of equipment (where provided), and the overall hosted experience.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1029\" data-end=\"1229\"><p data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1229\">Claims for refunds or compensation on the basis of value for money will only be considered where Haunted Houses Events Ltd has <strong data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1226\">clearly and reasonably failed to deliver the event as advertised<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-1312\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-1312\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus-circle\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-chevron-circle-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">2. Booking Fees, Deposits & Remaining Balances  <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1312\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1312\"><p data-start=\"58\" data-end=\"152\">2.1 <strong data-start=\"62\" data-end=\"74\">Deposits<\/strong> \u2013 Haunted Houses Events Ltd experiences can be reserved with a <strong data-start=\"138\" data-end=\"149\">deposit<\/strong>.<\/p><ul data-start=\"154\" data-end=\"457\"><li data-start=\"154\" data-end=\"257\">The deposit amount <strong data-start=\"175\" data-end=\"194\">varies by event<\/strong>, and details are provided <strong data-start=\"221\" data-end=\"254\">on each individual event page<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"258\" data-end=\"328\"><strong data-start=\"260\" data-end=\"325\">All deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"329\" data-end=\"457\"><strong data-start=\"331\" data-end=\"384\">A deposit does not constitute a confirmed booking<\/strong>; it only <strong data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"454\">reserves a place until the final balance is paid in full<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"459\" data-end=\"483\">2.2 <strong data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"479\">Booking Fees<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"485\" data-end=\"700\"><li data-start=\"105\" data-end=\"169\"><p data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"169\">A booking fee may apply at the time of making a reservation.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"170\" data-end=\"251\"><p data-start=\"172\" data-end=\"251\">The <strong data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"248\">applicable booking fee will be clearly stated at the time of payment<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"252\" data-end=\"384\"><p data-start=\"254\" data-end=\"384\">The fee <strong data-start=\"262\" data-end=\"328\">contributes to administration, processing, and secure handling<\/strong> of your booking and confirms your place on the event.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"447\"><p data-start=\"387\" data-end=\"447\">Booking fees are <strong data-start=\"404\" data-end=\"444\">applied per person, per event booked<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"448\" data-end=\"601\"><p data-start=\"450\" data-end=\"601\">Booking fees are <strong data-start=\"467\" data-end=\"498\">charged only once per order<\/strong> (whether paying in full or by deposit) and <strong data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"598\">are not charged again on subsequent balance payments<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"602\" data-end=\"666\"><p data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"666\">Booking fees are <strong data-start=\"621\" data-end=\"663\">non-refundable under any circumstances<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"735\">2.3 <strong data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"731\">Final Balance Payment<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"984\"><li data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"867\">The <strong data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"818\">remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days prior to the event<\/strong>, unless otherwise specified on the event page.<\/li><li data-start=\"868\" data-end=\"984\">Failure to <strong data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"917\">complete payment by the deadline<\/strong> will result in the <strong data-start=\"937\" data-end=\"981\">booking being cancelled without a refund<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1022\">2.4 <strong data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1018\">Full Payment Requirement<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1199\"><li data-start=\"1024\" data-end=\"1199\">The full booking fee must be received at least <strong data-start=\"1073\" data-end=\"1101\">28 days before the event<\/strong>, unless an alternative arrangement has been <strong data-start=\"1146\" data-end=\"1167\">agreed in writing<\/strong> by Haunted Houses Events Ltd.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1201\" data-end=\"1233\">2.5 <strong data-start=\"1205\" data-end=\"1229\">Booking Confirmation<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1408\"><li data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1408\">A <strong data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1324\">booking is considered fully confirmed only once the total event fee has been paid<\/strong>, whether through <strong data-start=\"1342\" data-end=\"1366\">full upfront payment<\/strong> or completion of the remaining balance.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1446\">2.6 <strong data-start=\"1414\" data-end=\"1442\">Non-Payment Consequences<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1709\"><li data-start=\"1448\" data-end=\"1593\">If the <strong data-start=\"1457\" data-end=\"1506\">final balance is not received by the deadline<\/strong>, Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"1534\" data-end=\"1590\">reserves the right to relist the place(s) for resale<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1709\">If the place(s) <strong data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1626\">are resold<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"1632\" data-end=\"1672\">original booking cannot be reclaimed<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1706\">no refund will be issued<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"1766\">2.7 <strong data-start=\"1715\" data-end=\"1762\">Customer Responsibility &amp; Payment Reminders<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"2203\"><li data-start=\"1768\" data-end=\"1909\"><strong data-start=\"1770\" data-end=\"1819\">It is the sole responsibility of the customer<\/strong> to ensure that any <strong data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"1906\">outstanding balance is paid at least 28 days prior to the event<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1910\" data-end=\"2065\">As a <strong data-start=\"1917\" data-end=\"1929\">courtesy<\/strong>, Haunted Houses Events Ltd will issue <strong data-start=\"1968\" data-end=\"1999\">payment reminders via email<\/strong>:<br \/><ul data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2065\"><li data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2039\"><strong data-start=\"2007\" data-end=\"2037\">7 days before the due date<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"2042\" data-end=\"2065\"><strong data-start=\"2044\" data-end=\"2063\">On the due date<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-start=\"2066\" data-end=\"2203\">However, failure to receive or act on these reminders <strong data-start=\"2122\" data-end=\"2200\">does not exempt a customer from payment deadlines or cancellation policies<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2205\" data-end=\"2247\">2.8 <strong data-start=\"2209\" data-end=\"2243\">Final &amp; Non-Amendable Bookings<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2550\"><li data-start=\"2249\" data-end=\"2326\"><strong data-start=\"2251\" data-end=\"2277\">All bookings are final<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2282\" data-end=\"2323\">cannot be amended to a different date<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"2327\" data-end=\"2436\">Once a booking is made, it is <strong data-start=\"2359\" data-end=\"2404\">non-transferable to another event or date<\/strong>, regardless of circumstances.<\/li><li data-start=\"2437\" data-end=\"2550\">Guests who <strong data-start=\"2450\" data-end=\"2486\">cannot attend their booked event<\/strong> will be subject to <strong data-start=\"2506\" data-end=\"2547\">Clause 3 (Cancellations &amp; Amendments)<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2552\" data-end=\"2603\">2.9 <strong data-start=\"2556\" data-end=\"2599\">Non-Refundable &amp; Non-Transferable Terms<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"2605\" data-end=\"3016\"><li data-start=\"2605\" data-end=\"2766\"><strong data-start=\"2607\" data-end=\"2711\">Payments for bookings, including deposits and full balances, are non-refundable and non-transferable<\/strong>, unless otherwise stated in the cancellation policy.<\/li><li data-start=\"2767\" data-end=\"3016\"><strong data-start=\"2769\" data-end=\"2800\">Exceptions will not be made<\/strong>, regardless of personal circumstances, including but not limited to:<br \/><ul data-start=\"2874\" data-end=\"3016\"><li data-start=\"2874\" data-end=\"2894\">Work commitments<\/li><li data-start=\"2897\" data-end=\"2919\">Travel disruptions<\/li><li data-start=\"2922\" data-end=\"2989\">Illness (excluding pregnancy-related amendments under Clause 7)<\/li><li data-start=\"2992\" data-end=\"3016\">Personal emergencies<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"393\"><strong data-start=\"350\" data-end=\"391\">2.10 Statutory Rights &amp; stage after purchase, for any reason<\/strong>, fails to attend the event, or chooses to leave early, the <strong data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"314\">entire booking fee or deposit will be retained<\/strong> by Haunted Houses Events Ltd.<\/li><li data-start=\"347\" data-end=\"449\">This applies to <strong data-start=\"365\" data-end=\"446\">bookings made directly via our website, over the phone, or through any third-party booking website<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"450\" data-end=\"520\"><strong data-start=\"452\" data-end=\"517\">All payments are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"521\" data-end=\"594\"><strong data-start=\"523\" data-end=\"592\">This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"596\" data-end=\"634\"><strong data-start=\"601\" data-end=\"632\">3.2 Reduction in Party Size<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"870\"><li data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"818\">If a customer <strong data-start=\"651\" data-end=\"686\">reduces the number of attendees<\/strong> in their booking, the corresponding <strong data-start=\"723\" data-end=\"773\">booking fees for those places will be retained<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"815\">cannot be credited or transferred<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"819\" data-end=\"870\"><strong data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"868\">This does not affect your statutory rights.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"872\" data-end=\"924\"><strong data-start=\"877\" data-end=\"922\">3.3 Strict No-Refund &amp; No-Transfer Policy<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1365\"><li data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"1107\"><strong data-start=\"927\" data-end=\"996\">All booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable<\/strong>, except in cases where the event is <strong data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1088\">cancelled or postponed by Haunted Houses Events Ltd<\/strong> (see Clause 14).<\/li><li data-start=\"1108\" data-end=\"1365\"><strong data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1363\">This policy is in compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which states that businesses are not required to provide refunds for cancellations initiated by the customer unless the service has been misrepresented or is not provided as advertised.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1412\"><strong data-start=\"1372\" data-end=\"1410\">3.4 Commitment to the Booking Date<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"2269\"><li data-start=\"1413\" data-end=\"1511\">Customers must ensure they are <strong data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1508\">able to attend their selected event at the time of booking<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1512\" data-end=\"1637\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"1540\" data-end=\"1581\">does not provide refunds or transfers<\/strong> if a customer is unable to attend for <strong data-start=\"1620\" data-end=\"1634\">any reason<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1638\" data-end=\"1787\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd is required to <strong data-start=\"1681\" data-end=\"1706\">pay venues in advance<\/strong> and remains <strong data-start=\"1719\" data-end=\"1745\">liable for these costs<\/strong> regardless of individual cancellations.<\/li><li data-start=\"1788\" data-end=\"1996\">As a result, <strong data-start=\"1803\" data-end=\"1993\">we cannot offer an alternative date without incurring additional costs, and customers wishing to attend a different event would need to meet these costs themselves, and make a new full-price booking<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1997\" data-end=\"2217\"><strong data-start=\"1999\" data-end=\"2215\">This policy aligns with UK contract law, which states that consumers enter a legally binding agreement upon booking, meaning businesses are not obligated to offer refunds or transfers unless contractually agreed.<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2269\"><strong data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2267\">This does not affect your statutory rights.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"2271\" data-end=\"2311\"><strong data-start=\"2276\" data-end=\"2309\">3.5 Cancellation Notification<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"2312\" data-end=\"2702\"><li data-start=\"2312\" data-end=\"2470\">If a customer wishes to <strong data-start=\"2338\" data-end=\"2362\">cancel their booking<\/strong>, they must notify Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"2407\" data-end=\"2447\">in writing via written letter, email or text message<\/strong> as soon as possible.<\/li><li data-start=\"2471\" data-end=\"2554\"><strong data-start=\"2473\" data-end=\"2552\">Cancellations cannot be accepted via social media, telephone, or voicemail.<\/strong><\/li><li data-start=\"2555\" data-end=\"2702\"><strong data-start=\"2557\" data-end=\"2700\">This policy complies with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002, ensuring fair and transparent online business practices.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"2704\" data-end=\"2745\"><strong data-start=\"2709\" data-end=\"2743\">3.6 Resale of Cancelled Places<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"2746\" data-end=\"3017\"><li data-start=\"2746\" data-end=\"2847\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"2774\" data-end=\"2821\">does not resell cancelled fully paid places<\/strong> on behalf of customers.<\/li><li data-start=\"2848\" data-end=\"3017\"><strong data-start=\"2850\" data-end=\"3015\">Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, Haunted Houses Events Ltd has no obligation to resell or credit a customer\u2019s cancelled place.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"3019\" data-end=\"3077\"><strong data-start=\"3024\" data-end=\"3075\">3.7 Transferring Your Booking to Another Person<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"3078\" data-end=\"3602\"><li data-start=\"3078\" data-end=\"3213\">Customers who have <strong data-start=\"3099\" data-end=\"3152\">fully paid for a booking but can no longer attend<\/strong> may choose to <strong data-start=\"3167\" data-end=\"3210\">resell or gift their place(s) privately<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"3214\" data-end=\"3419\">However, the replacement attendee must:<br \/><ul data-start=\"3260\" data-end=\"3419\"><li data-start=\"3260\" data-end=\"3301\"><strong data-start=\"3262\" data-end=\"3298\">Meet the minimum age requirement<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"3304\" data-end=\"3347\"><strong data-start=\"3306\" data-end=\"3344\">Comply with pregnancy restrictions<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"3350\" data-end=\"3602\"><strong data-start=\"3422\" data-end=\"3600\">This aligns with contract law principles, as the contractual obligation is transferable only with the original booker\u2019s consent and notification to Haunted Houses Events Ltd.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"3604\" data-end=\"3660\"><strong data-start=\"3609\" data-end=\"3658\">3.8 Guest List Updates for Transferred Places<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"3661\" data-end=\"3897\"><li data-start=\"3661\" data-end=\"3813\">The <strong data-start=\"3667\" data-end=\"3734\">original booker must notify Haunted Houses Events Ltd via email<\/strong> with the <strong data-start=\"3744\" data-end=\"3791\">full name(s) of the replacement attendee(s)<\/strong> prior to the event.<\/li><li data-start=\"3814\" data-end=\"3897\"><strong data-start=\"3816\" data-end=\"3894\">Guests who are not on the event\u2019s official guest list may be refused entry<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"3899\" data-end=\"3935\"><strong data-start=\"3904\" data-end=\"3933\">3.9 Third-Party Transfers<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"3936\" data-end=\"4460\"><li data-start=\"3936\" data-end=\"4055\">Any <strong data-start=\"3942\" data-end=\"3982\">booking transferred to a third party<\/strong> remains <strong data-start=\"3991\" data-end=\"4052\">subject to Haunted Houses Events Ltd\u2019s Terms &amp; Conditions<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"4056\" data-end=\"4164\">The <strong data-start=\"4062\" data-end=\"4124\">recipient of the booking automatically agrees to all terms<\/strong> upon accepting the transferred place.<\/li><li data-start=\"4165\" data-end=\"4295\"><strong data-start=\"4167\" data-end=\"4215\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd is not responsible<\/strong> for any <strong data-start=\"4224\" data-end=\"4292\">disputes or issues arising from private third-party transactions<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"4296\" data-end=\"4460\"><strong data-start=\"4298\" data-end=\"4458\">This aligns with UK consumer protection laws, ensuring that all third-party transfers are bound by the same contractual obligations as the original booking.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4 data-start=\"4462\" data-end=\"4515\"><strong data-start=\"4467\" data-end=\"4513\">3.10 No Refunds for External Circumstances<\/strong><\/h4><ul data-start=\"4516\" data-end=\"5169\"><li data-start=\"4516\" data-end=\"4940\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"4544\" data-end=\"4583\">cannot provide refunds or transfers<\/strong> due to:<br \/><ul data-start=\"4596\" data-end=\"4940\"><li data-start=\"4596\" data-end=\"4677\"><strong data-start=\"4598\" data-end=\"4674\">Personal illness (excluding pregnancy-related amendments under Clause 7)<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"4680\" data-end=\"4725\"><strong data-start=\"4682\" data-end=\"4722\">Work commitments or schedule changes<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"4728\" data-end=\"4882\"><strong data-start=\"4730\" data-end=\"4812\">Travel disruptions, including train strikes, road closures, or adverse weather<\/strong> (unless the event itself is affected\u2014see Clause 15, Force Majeure).<\/li><li data-start=\"4885\" data-end=\"4940\"><strong data-start=\"4887\" data-end=\"4937\">Financial difficulties or personal emergencies<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p><strong data-start=\"4943\" data-end=\"5167\">Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, event bookings for specific dates fall under \u2018leisure activities\u2019 and are exempt from standard 14-day cancellation rights.<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div All events will be conducted in accordance with the latest guidelines issued by the relevant national governing body.<\/p><p data-start=\"434\" data-end=\"789\">3A.2 <strong data-start=\"439\" data-end=\"508\">Event Cancellations or Postponements Due to Pandemic Restrictions<\/strong> \u2013 If an event is cancelled, postponed, moved, or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control (such as government restrictions or lockdowns), Haunted Houses Events Ltd will offer customers the option to <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"786\">either receive a refund or transfer their booking to a new date<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"1133\">3A.3 <strong data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"856\">Understanding Risks When Booking During Pandemic Periods<\/strong> \u2013 By making a booking during a period affected by Covid-19 (or any similar pandemic), customers acknowledge that Haunted Houses Events Ltd may be required to cease operations due to national or local lockdowns. In such cases, the policies outlined in Clause 3A.2 will apply.<\/p><p data-start=\"1135\" data-end=\"1443\">3A.4 <strong data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1176\">Personal Decisions Not to Attend<\/strong> \u2013 If an event is deemed <strong data-start=\"1201\" data-end=\"1220\">safe to proceed<\/strong> and a customer chooses <strong data-start=\"1244\" data-end=\"1261\">not to attend<\/strong> for personal reasons, our <strong data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1343\">standard cancellation terms (Clause 3.1) will apply<\/strong>. In such cases, Haunted Houses Events Ltd is unable to offer refunds, transfers, or credit notes.<\/p><p data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1773\">3A.5 <strong data-start=\"1450\" data-end=\"1501\">Non-Attendance Due to Illness or Self-Isolation<\/strong> \u2013 If a customer or any member of their group is unable to attend due to illness, testing positive for an illness, or being required to self-isolate, <strong data-start=\"1649\" data-end=\"1688\">no refund, credit note, or transfer<\/strong> will be offered. Drugs, Alcohol & Dangerous Weapons<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1317\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"7\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1317\"><p data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"502\">6.1 <strong data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"362\">Prohibited Substances &amp; Dangerous Items<\/strong> \u2013 Haunted Houses Events Ltd operates a <strong data-start=\"402\" data-end=\"427\">zero-tolerance policy<\/strong> regarding alcohol, drugs, solvents, and dangerous weapons at all events.<\/p><ul data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"920\"><li data-start=\"504\" data-end=\"762\">Any customer suspected (by any Haunted Houses Events Ltd team member) of being <strong data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"639\">under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or solvents<\/strong>, or of <strong data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"659\">bringing<\/strong> such substances or dangerous weapons to the event, <strong data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"759\">will be refused entry or removed immediately<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"763\" data-end=\"920\"><strong data-start=\"765\" data-end=\"787\">Illegal substances<\/strong> and offensive weapons are strictly prohibited. The following alternatives are available:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2627\"><li data-start=\"2412\" data-end=\"2483\"><strong data-start=\"2414\" data-end=\"2480\">The pregnant participant may receive a refund for their ticket<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"2484\" data-end=\"2627\"><strong data-start=\"2486\" data-end=\"2539\">The full party may transfer to a later event date<\/strong> (subject to availability), but refunds will only be issued for the pregnant attendee.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong data-start=\"2629\" data-end=\"2747\">Refunds will not be issued for the full booking unless all other standard cancellation terms apply (see Clause 3).<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2751\" data-end=\"2791\"><strong data-start=\"2755\" data-end=\"2789\">7.6 No Exceptions or Liability<\/strong><\/p><p>Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"2818\" data-end=\"2844\">cannot make exceptions<\/strong> to this rule. Customers booking for others are responsible for ensuring that <strong data-start=\"2922\" data-end=\"2949\">no pregnant individuals<\/strong> attend the event. Smoking, Vaping and Fire Hazards<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1319\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"9\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1319\"><p data-start=\"45\" data-end=\"249\">8.1 <strong data-start=\"49\" data-end=\"69\">Smoking &amp; Vaping<\/strong> \u2013 Smoking and vaping are <strong data-start=\"95\" data-end=\"113\">only permitted<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"117\" data-end=\"145\">designated outdoor areas<\/strong> as agreed upon by the venue owners. These areas will be clearly identified at the start of the event.<\/p><ul data-start=\"251\" data-end=\"436\"><li data-start=\"251\" data-end=\"348\">Customers must <strong data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"309\">dispose of cigarette ends responsibly<\/strong> using the provided bins or ashtrays.<\/li><li data-start=\"349\" data-end=\"436\">Smoking and vaping <strong data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"405\">are strictly prohibited indoors<\/strong> or outside designated areas.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"614\">8.2 <strong data-start=\"442\" data-end=\"472\">Fire Hazards &amp; Open Flames<\/strong> \u2013 To comply with <strong data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"517\">fire safety regulations<\/strong>, the use of <strong data-start=\"530\" data-end=\"570\">candles, incense, or any open flames<\/strong> is strictly <strong data-start=\"583\" data-end=\"597\">prohibited<\/strong> during events.<\/p><ul data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"844\"><li data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"723\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd reserves the right to determine what constitutes a <strong data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"720\">potential fire hazard<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"724\" data-end=\"844\">Any customer found in possession of <strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"789\">prohibited fire hazards<\/strong> will be <strong data-start=\"798\" data-end=\"841\">removed from the event without a refund<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"846\" data-end=\"952\">8.3 <strong data-start=\"850\" data-end=\"879\">Use of Electrical Devices<\/strong> \u2013 To prevent <strong data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"927\">overloading electrical systems<\/strong> and reduce fire risks:<\/p><ul data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1351\"><li data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1121\"><strong data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"990\">No personal electronic devices<\/strong> that require <strong data-start=\"1004\" data-end=\"1019\">mains power<\/strong> may be plugged into <strong data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1063\">venue power outlets<\/strong> without prior approval from a <strong data-start=\"1094\" data-end=\"1118\">venue representative<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1122\" data-end=\"1238\">This includes, but is not limited to, <strong data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1235\">mobile phone chargers, laptops, or electronic ghost hunting equipment<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1239\" data-end=\"1351\">Any unauthorised use of electrical sockets <strong data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1324\">may result in removal from the event<\/strong> if deemed a safety risk.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1392\"><strong>8.4 Legal &amp; Safety Compliance<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1445\">This policy is in place to ensure compliance with:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1447\" data-end=\"1692\"><li data-start=\"1447\" data-end=\"1526\"><strong data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1472\">The Health Act 2006<\/strong> (which regulates smoking in enclosed public spaces)<\/li><li data-start=\"1527\" data-end=\"1620\"><strong data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1579\">The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005<\/strong> (which governs fire hazard prevention)<\/li><li data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1692\"><strong data-start=\"1623\" data-end=\"1690\">Venue-specific fire safety protocols and insurance requirements<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1694\" data-end=\"1797\">Customers who fail to comply with these regulations may be asked to leave the event without a refund.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-13110\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"10\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-13110\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus-circle\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-chevron-circle-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">9. All guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, other attendees, and the venues we use. This policy ensures a safe, professional, and enjoyable experience for all.<\/p><hr data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"755\" \/><p data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"782\"><strong data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"780\">9.1 General Conduct<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"1019\"><li data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"870\"><p data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"870\">Guests must conduct themselves in a respectful and considerate manner at all times.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"1019\"><p data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"1019\">Any form of harassment, intimidation, aggression, or unpleasant behaviour towards staff, other guests, or venue personnel will not be tolerated.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1024\" \/><p data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1241\"><strong data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1054\">9.2 Disruptive Behaviour<\/strong><br data-start=\"1054\" data-end=\"1057\" \/>Any customer found to be disruptive, disrespectful, or unpleasant will be asked to leave the event immediately, without refund. Disruptive behaviour includes (but is not limited to):<\/p><ul data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1650\"><li data-start=\"1242\" data-end=\"1307\"><p data-start=\"1244\" data-end=\"1307\">Verbal abuse, intimidation, or harassment of staff or guests.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1439\"><p data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1439\">Excessive talking, shouting, or behaviour that interferes with vigils, investigations, or the ability of others to participate.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1523\"><p data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1523\">Persistent disregard for instructions given by Haunted Houses Events Ltd staff.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1524\" data-end=\"1650\"><p data-start=\"1526\" data-end=\"1650\">Inconsiderate, hostile, or aggressive behaviour that negatively impacts the balance and enjoyment of the event for others.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1655\" \/><p data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1697\"><strong data-start=\"1657\" data-end=\"1695\">9.3 Harm, Injury &amp; Property Damage<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"1698\" data-end=\"1976\"><li data-start=\"1698\" data-end=\"1930\"><p data-start=\"1700\" data-end=\"1930\">Any customer found causing harm or injury to another person or animal, or damaging property or contents at a venue (whether belonging to Haunted Houses Events Ltd or the venue itself), will be removed from the event immediately.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1931\" data-end=\"1976\"><p data-start=\"1933\" data-end=\"1976\">The police may be contacted if necessary.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"1981\" \/><p data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2025\"><strong data-start=\"1983\" data-end=\"2023\">9.4 Interference with Guest Property<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2397\"><li data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2095\"><p data-start=\"2028\" data-end=\"2095\">Guests must respect the personal property of others at all times.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2096\" data-end=\"2264\"><p data-start=\"2098\" data-end=\"2264\">Any customer found tampering with, moving, or interfering with another guest\u2019s belongings without consent will be removed from the event immediately without refund.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2265\" data-end=\"2397\"><p data-start=\"2267\" data-end=\"2397\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd accepts no liability for loss of or damage to personal property caused by the actions of other guests.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2402\" \/><p data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"2440\"><strong data-start=\"2404\" data-end=\"2438\">9.5 Faking Paranormal Activity<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"2441\" data-end=\"2738\"><li data-start=\"2441\" data-end=\"2530\"><p data-start=\"2443\" data-end=\"2530\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd is committed to providing authentic paranormal experiences.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2531\" data-end=\"2738\"><p data-start=\"2533\" data-end=\"2738\">Any customer found deliberately faking paranormal activity (including, but not limited to, throwing objects, tapping on surfaces, or manipulating equipment) will be removed from the event without refund.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"2740\" data-end=\"2743\" \/><p data-start=\"2745\" data-end=\"2788\"><strong data-start=\"2745\" data-end=\"2786\">9.6 Trespassing &amp; Unauthorised Access<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"2789\" data-end=\"3153\"><li data-start=\"2789\" data-end=\"2882\"><p data-start=\"2791\" data-end=\"2882\">Any off-limits areas within a venue will be clearly identified at the start of the event.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2883\" data-end=\"3008\"><p data-start=\"2885\" data-end=\"3008\">Any customer found knowingly trespassing in restricted areas will be removed from the event immediately without a refund.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3009\" data-end=\"3153\"><p data-start=\"3011\" data-end=\"3153\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd is not responsible for any consequences arising from trespassing, including legal action taken by the venue owner.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3155\" data-end=\"3158\" \/><p data-start=\"3160\" data-end=\"3188\"><strong data-start=\"3160\" data-end=\"3186\">9.7 Authority of Staff<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"3189\" data-end=\"3426\"><li data-start=\"3189\" data-end=\"3314\"><p data-start=\"3191\" data-end=\"3314\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd reserves the right to determine what constitutes disruptive, unsafe, or unacceptable behaviour.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"3315\" data-end=\"3426\"><p data-start=\"3317\" data-end=\"3426\">Staff decisions are final and are taken to protect the safety, balance, and overall enjoyment of the group.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3428\" data-end=\"3431\" \/><p data-start=\"3433\" data-end=\"3465\"><strong data-start=\"3433\" data-end=\"3463\">9.8 No Refunds for Removal<\/strong><\/p><ul data-start=\"3466\" data-end=\"3584\"><li data-start=\"3466\" data-end=\"3584\"><p data-start=\"3468\" data-end=\"3584\">Any customer removed from an event under Clauses 9.1\u20139.7 will not be entitled to a refund under any circumstances.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><hr data-start=\"3586\" data-end=\"3589\" \/><p data-start=\"3591\" data-end=\"3668\"><strong data-start=\"3591\" data-end=\"3639\">9.9 Legal Compliance &amp; Personal Belongings<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-13111\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"11\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-13111\"><p data-start=\"35\" data-end=\"237\">10.1 <strong data-start=\"40\" data-end=\"67\">Customer Responsibility<\/strong> \u2013 All <strong data-start=\"74\" data-end=\"138\">luggage, clothing, equipment, vehicles, and personal effects<\/strong> brought to a Haunted Houses Events Ltd event remain <strong data-start=\"191\" data-end=\"234\">the sole responsibility of the customer<\/strong>.<\/p><ul data-start=\"239\" data-end=\"504\"><li data-start=\"239\" data-end=\"385\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"267\" data-end=\"291\">accepts no liability<\/strong> for the <strong data-start=\"300\" data-end=\"326\">loss, damage, or theft<\/strong> of any personal belongings, <strong data-start=\"355\" data-end=\"382\">regardless of the cause<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"386\" data-end=\"504\">Customers are advised to <strong data-start=\"413\" data-end=\"438\">keep valuables secure<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"443\" data-end=\"488\">avoid bringing unnecessary personal items<\/strong> to the event.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"506\" data-end=\"686\">10.2 <strong data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"538\">Ghost Hunting Equipment<\/strong> \u2013 Any <strong data-start=\"545\" data-end=\"572\">ghost hunting equipment<\/strong> brought by the customer is included under <strong data-start=\"615\" data-end=\"630\">Clause 10.1<\/strong> and remains the <strong data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"683\">full responsibility of the owner<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"834\">10.3 <strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"717\">Lost Property Policy<\/strong> \u2013 Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"804\">will retain lost property for a period of three months<\/strong> from the date of the event.<\/p><ul data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"1190\"><li data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"944\">If an item is found, it will be <strong data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"918\">securely stored by Haunted Houses Events Ltd<\/strong> for up to three months.<\/li><li data-start=\"945\" data-end=\"1064\">Guests who believe they have lost an item must <strong data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1040\">contact Haunted Houses Events Ltd directly<\/strong> to arrange retrieval.<\/li><li data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1190\">After three months, any unclaimed items will be <strong data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1145\">donated to charity or sold<\/strong>, with proceeds going to charitable causes.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1192\" data-end=\"1231\">10.4 <strong data-start=\"1197\" data-end=\"1227\">Collection &amp; Cancellation, Changes to, and Postponement of Events by us<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-13115\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"15\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-13115\"><p data-start=\"97\" data-end=\"300\">14.1 <strong data-start=\"102\" data-end=\"158\">Full Event Cancellation by Haunted Houses Events Ltd<\/strong> \u2013 If an event is <strong data-start=\"176\" data-end=\"197\">cancelled in full<\/strong> by Haunted Houses Events Ltd, customers will receive a <strong data-start=\"253\" data-end=\"268\">full refund<\/strong> of any payments made to date.<\/p><p data-start=\"302\" data-end=\"514\">14.2 <strong data-start=\"307\" data-end=\"373\">Cancellations, Postponements &amp; Rescheduling Beyond Our Control<\/strong> \u2013 If an event is <strong data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"438\">cancelled, postponed, moved, or rescheduled<\/strong> due to circumstances beyond Haunted Houses Events Ltd\u2019s control, we will:<\/p><ul data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"753\"><li data-start=\"516\" data-end=\"584\">Offer customers an <strong data-start=\"537\" data-end=\"566\">alternative date or venue<\/strong> where possible.<\/li><li data-start=\"585\" data-end=\"680\">If the alternative is unsuitable, the customer will be offered a <strong data-start=\"652\" data-end=\"677\">refund or credit note<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"753\"><strong data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"718\">Booking fees are non-refundable<\/strong> in the case of postponed events.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"950\">14.3 <strong data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"811\">Exclusions of Liability for Additional Expenses<\/strong> \u2013 Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"862\">is not responsible<\/strong> for any <strong data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"892\">third-party costs<\/strong> incurred by the customer, including but not limited to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1117\"><li data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"1015\">Travel expenses (e.g., train tickets, petrol, taxis, etc.).<\/li><li data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1063\">Accommodation costs (e.g., hotel bookings).<\/li><li data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1117\">Any insurance policies taken out by the customer.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1299\">These expenses are <strong data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1183\">incurred at the customer\u2019s own discretion<\/strong>, and we strongly recommend <strong data-start=\"1211\" data-end=\"1256\">booking hotel rooms under a flexible rate<\/strong> to protect against cancellation charges.<\/p><p data-start=\"1301\" data-end=\"1556\">14.4 <strong data-start=\"1306\" data-end=\"1359\">Events Taking Place Outdoors &amp; Weather Conditions<\/strong> \u2013 If part of an event is due to take place <strong data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1435\">wholly or partially outdoors<\/strong>, it may be affected by <strong data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1489\">adverse weather conditions<\/strong>. In such cases, Haunted Houses Events Ltd reserves the right to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1716\"><li data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1625\"><strong data-start=\"1560\" data-end=\"1570\">14.4.1<\/strong> Relocate the event to a more suitable area or venue.<\/li><li data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1716\"><strong data-start=\"1628\" data-end=\"1638\">14.4.2<\/strong> Cancel part of the event entirely, notifying customers as soon as possible.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1718\" data-end=\"1826\">Refunds will <strong data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1738\">not<\/strong> be issued for cancellations of outdoor activities unless the full event is cancelled.<\/p><p data-start=\"1828\" data-end=\"2039\">14.5 <strong data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1868\">Changes Imposed by Venue Owners<\/strong> \u2013 Haunted Houses Events Ltd <strong data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1914\">is not liable<\/strong> for any changes made to an event due to <strong data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"1998\">restrictions imposed by the venue owner<\/strong>. This includes, but is not limited to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2041\" data-end=\"2198\"><li data-start=\"2041\" data-end=\"2094\"><strong data-start=\"2043\" data-end=\"2078\">Limited access to certain areas<\/strong> of the venue.<\/li><li data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2198\"><strong data-start=\"2097\" data-end=\"2140\">Venues requiring guests to sign waivers<\/strong> before accessing specific locations for safety reasons.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2200\" data-end=\"2340\">If such changes occur, we will notify customers as soon as possible, but no refunds will be provided unless the entire event is cancelled.<\/p><p data-start=\"2342\" data-end=\"2386\"><strong data-start=\"2346\" data-end=\"2384\">14.6 Minimum Capacity Requirements<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2635\">14.6.1 Haunted Houses Events Ltd reserves the right to <strong data-start=\"2443\" data-end=\"2475\">cancel or postpone any event<\/strong> that does not meet the required <strong data-start=\"2508\" data-end=\"2542\">minimum number of participants<\/strong>. The <strong data-start=\"2548\" data-end=\"2585\">minimum capacity varies per event<\/strong> and is determined by Haunted Houses Events Ltd.<\/p><p data-start=\"2637\" data-end=\"2823\">14.6.2 <strong data-start=\"2644\" data-end=\"2684\">Full Cancellation Due to Low Numbers<\/strong> \u2013 If an event is cancelled due to <strong data-start=\"2719\" data-end=\"2751\">not meeting minimum capacity<\/strong>, customers will receive a <strong data-start=\"2778\" data-end=\"2793\">full refund<\/strong> of any monies paid to date.<\/p><p data-start=\"2825\" data-end=\"2969\">14.6.3 <strong data-start=\"2832\" data-end=\"2867\">Postponement Due to Low Numbers<\/strong> \u2013 If an event is postponed due to <strong data-start=\"2902\" data-end=\"2934\">not meeting minimum capacity<\/strong>, Haunted Houses Events Ltd will:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2971\" data-end=\"3216\"><li data-start=\"2971\" data-end=\"3039\">Arrange a <strong data-start=\"2983\" data-end=\"2995\">new date<\/strong> and notify customers as soon as possible.<\/li><li data-start=\"3040\" data-end=\"3146\">If the new date is unsuitable, the customer will receive a <strong data-start=\"3101\" data-end=\"3143\">refund for the event ticket price only<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"3147\" data-end=\"3216\"><strong data-start=\"3149\" data-end=\"3184\">Booking fees are non-refundable<\/strong> in cases of postponed events.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3218\" data-end=\"3290\">Refunds <strong data-start=\"3226\" data-end=\"3269\">do not include any third-party expenses<\/strong> (see Clause 14.3).<\/p><p data-start=\"3292\" data-end=\"3327\"><strong data-start=\"3296\" data-end=\"3325\">14.7 Legal Considerations<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"3328\" data-end=\"3354\">This policy aligns with:<\/p><ul data-start=\"3356\" data-end=\"3544\"><li data-start=\"3356\" data-end=\"3450\"><strong data-start=\"3358\" data-end=\"3390\">The Consumer Rights Act 2015<\/strong>, ensuring fair business practices in event cancellations.<\/li><li data-start=\"3451\" data-end=\"3544\"><strong data-start=\"3453\" data-end=\"3523\">The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018<\/strong>, where applicable.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3546\" data-end=\"3679\">By booking with Haunted Houses Events Ltd, customers <strong data-start=\"3599\" data-end=\"3676\">accept the terms of this cancellation, postponement, and amendment policy<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-title-13116\" class=\"elementor-tab-title\" data-tab=\"16\" role=\"button\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-13116\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon elementor-accordion-icon-right\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-closed\"><i class=\"fas fa-plus-circle\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-accordion-icon-opened\"><i class=\"fas fa-chevron-circle-up\"><\/i><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a class=\"elementor-accordion-title\" tabindex=\"0\">15. Force Majeure<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-13116\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"16\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-13116\"><p data-start=\"155\" data-end=\"396\">15.1 <strong data-start=\"160\" data-end=\"182\">Definition &amp; Scope<\/strong> \u2013 Neither Haunted Houses Events Ltd nor the customer shall be <strong data-start=\"245\" data-end=\"255\">liable<\/strong> for any breach of obligations resulting from circumstances <strong data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"350\">beyond their reasonable control<\/strong>. These may include, but are not limited to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"398\" data-end=\"1287\"><li data-start=\"398\" data-end=\"499\">Government restrictions (including those imposed by any agency or political subdivision thereof).<\/li><li data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"539\">Court orders or legal prohibitions.<\/li><li data-start=\"540\" data-end=\"623\">Unforeseen <strong data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"571\">venue closures<\/strong> or <strong data-start=\"575\" data-end=\"607\">venue owners failing to open<\/strong> the premises.<\/li><li data-start=\"624\" data-end=\"678\"><strong data-start=\"626\" data-end=\"675\">Fire, acts of war, terrorism, or civil unrest<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"784\"><strong data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"749\">Electrical power surges or failures in essential public supplies<\/strong> (e.g., water, electricity, gas).<\/li><li data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"841\"><strong data-start=\"787\" data-end=\"838\">Floods, epidemics, pandemics, and health crises<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"842\" data-end=\"932\"><strong data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"874\">Extreme weather conditions<\/strong> (e.g., tornadoes, hurricanes, storms, severe snowfall).<\/li><li data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"999\"><strong data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"950\">Acts of God<\/strong> or any other <strong data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"996\">unforeseen natural disasters<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1138\"><strong data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1081\">Staffing shortages due to illness, industrial action, or travel disruptions<\/strong>, where the event cannot be safely staffed or operated.<\/li><li data-start=\"1139\" data-end=\"1240\"><strong data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1185\">Supplier failures or equipment shortages<\/strong> affecting the safe or practical running of an event.<\/li><li data-start=\"1241\" data-end=\"1287\"><strong data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1263\">Venue insolvency<\/strong> or permanent closure.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1289\" data-end=\"1417\">This <strong data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1320\">list is non-exhaustive<\/strong> and covers all causes that are <strong data-start=\"1352\" data-end=\"1414\">beyond the reasonable control of Haunted Houses Events Ltd<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"1419\" data-end=\"1456\">15.2 <strong data-start=\"1424\" data-end=\"1452\">Notification Requirement<\/strong> \u2013<\/p><ul data-start=\"1458\" data-end=\"1866\"><li data-start=\"1458\" data-end=\"1566\">Both parties agree to provide <strong data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1518\">immediate written notice<\/strong> to the other if a force majeure event arises.<\/li><li data-start=\"1567\" data-end=\"1697\">The notice must include <strong data-start=\"1593\" data-end=\"1625\">details of the circumstances<\/strong> leading to the event and the anticipated impact on event performance.<\/li><li data-start=\"1698\" data-end=\"1866\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd will <strong data-start=\"1731\" data-end=\"1797\">aim to notify affected customers within a reasonable timeframe<\/strong> and provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"2025\">15.3 <strong data-start=\"1873\" data-end=\"1907\">Temporary Force Majeure Events<\/strong> \u2013 If an event is <strong data-start=\"1925\" data-end=\"1951\">temporarily impossible<\/strong> to perform due to a force majeure event, Haunted Houses Events Ltd may:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2027\" data-end=\"2205\"><li data-start=\"2027\" data-end=\"2101\"><strong data-start=\"2029\" data-end=\"2050\">Suspend the event<\/strong> for the duration of the force majeure situation.<\/li><li data-start=\"2102\" data-end=\"2205\"><strong data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2172\">Offer a transfer to a later viable date or provide a credit note<\/strong> to be used for a future event.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2207\" data-end=\"2419\"><strong data-start=\"2207\" data-end=\"2239\">Refunds will not be provided<\/strong> for temporarily postponed events, as neither the guest nor Haunted Houses Events Ltd should bear a financial loss due to an <strong data-start=\"2364\" data-end=\"2392\">unforeseen and temporary<\/strong> force majeure situation.<\/p><p data-start=\"2421\" data-end=\"2673\">15.4 <strong data-start=\"2426\" data-end=\"2481\">Permanent Force Majeure Events &amp; Full Cancellations<\/strong> \u2013 If a force majeure event results in a <strong data-start=\"2522\" data-end=\"2549\">permanent impossibility<\/strong> to proceed with the booked event, Haunted Houses Events Ltd reserves the right to <strong data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2670\">retroactively cancel the agreement<\/strong>.<\/p><ul data-start=\"2675\" data-end=\"3452\"><li data-start=\"2675\" data-end=\"2840\">In such cases, both Haunted Houses Events Ltd and the customer shall be restored to <strong data-start=\"2761\" data-end=\"2799\">their original financial positions<\/strong> as if the booking had never been made.<\/li><li data-start=\"2841\" data-end=\"2977\">This includes <strong data-start=\"2857\" data-end=\"2881\">refunds of sums paid<\/strong> for services that <strong data-start=\"2900\" data-end=\"2938\">cannot be rescheduled or delivered<\/strong>, in accordance with UK consumer law.<\/li><li data-start=\"2978\" data-end=\"3287\"><strong data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3045\">Haunted Houses Events Ltd cannot refund any third-party costs<\/strong>, including but not limited to:<br \/><ul data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3287\"><li data-start=\"3081\" data-end=\"3138\">Travel expenses (e.g., train tickets, petrol, taxis).<\/li><li data-start=\"3141\" data-end=\"3188\">Accommodation costs (e.g., hotel bookings).<\/li><li data-start=\"3191\" data-end=\"3287\">Any other expenses incurred by the customer that are unrelated to Haunted Houses Events Ltd.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li data-start=\"3288\" data-end=\"3452\"><strong data-start=\"3290\" data-end=\"3320\">Refund Processing Timeline<\/strong> \u2013 Refunds for permanently cancelled events will be processed within <strong data-start=\"3389\" data-end=\"3406\">14 to 28 days<\/strong> from the date of cancellation confirmation.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"3454\" data-end=\"3696\">15.5 <strong data-start=\"3459\" data-end=\"3499\">Event Proceeding in Unaffected Areas<\/strong> \u2013 If an event <strong data-start=\"3514\" data-end=\"3574\">is scheduled to take place in an area that is unaffected<\/strong> by the force majeure event (e.g., storms, travel disruptions in other regions), the event will <strong data-start=\"3670\" data-end=\"3693\">continue as planned<\/strong>.<\/p><ul data-start=\"3698\" data-end=\"4077\"><li data-start=\"3698\" data-end=\"3953\">If a customer is unable or unwilling to attend the event due to circumstances affecting their <strong data-start=\"3794\" data-end=\"3824\">personal ability to travel<\/strong>, but the event itself <strong data-start=\"3847\" data-end=\"3870\">remains operational<\/strong>, the booking will <strong data-start=\"3889\" data-end=\"3950\">fall under Clause 3 \u2013 Customer Cancellations &amp; Amendments<\/strong>.<\/li><li data-start=\"3954\" data-end=\"4077\">No refunds, transfers, or credit notes will be offered in these cases, as the event is still taking place as scheduled.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4079\" data-end=\"4350\">15.6 <strong data-start=\"4084\" data-end=\"4116\">Partial Force Majeure Impact<\/strong> \u2013 If <strong data-start=\"4122\" data-end=\"4159\">only part of an event is affected<\/strong> due to a force majeure situation (e.g., outdoor vigils being cancelled due to weather, certain areas of a venue being closed unexpectedly), Haunted Houses Events Ltd reserves the right to:<\/p><ul data-start=\"4352\" data-end=\"4564\"><li data-start=\"4352\" data-end=\"4424\"><strong data-start=\"4354\" data-end=\"4393\">Proceed with the remaining elements<\/strong> of the event where possible.<\/li><li data-start=\"4425\" data-end=\"4495\"><strong data-start=\"4427\" data-end=\"4450\">Relocate activities<\/strong> to alternative locations within the venue.<\/li><li data-start=\"4496\" data-end=\"4564\"><strong data-start=\"4498\" data-end=\"4525\">Modify the event format<\/strong> to maintain an enjoyable experience.<\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"4566\" data-end=\"4682\">No refunds, partial or full, will be issued for changes that <strong data-start=\"4627\" data-end=\"4679\">do not prevent the overall event from proceeding<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"4684\" data-end=\"4828\">15.7 <strong data-start=\"4689\" data-end=\"4736\">Force Majeure Duration &amp;
